Admission Requirements for MBA Course

 

You need to complete an overseas university qualification at the level of a Bachelor or higher. Also, a proven record of business-related work experience of no less than 5 years will be essential.

For international students, an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with written and oral bands of no less than 6.0 or equivalent) is necessary.

  1. How long will an MBA degree take me?

In normal circumstances, an Australia MBA at UBBS takes you 2 years to complete. But you can fast-track your studies and complete it in 1.5 years if you choose.

  1. Is your master's degree in business administration accredited and recognised by the Australian Government?

UBBS is a TEQSA registered and accredited business school. This ensures that we meet the highest quality standards and are recognized by employers worldwide. It is also AQF Compliant - recognised by the Australian Government.

  1. Do I have to study full-time or part-time?

That entirely depends on you. Our course content is structured to fit your schedule. You can go through the subjects at your own pace. This is especially the case online.

  1. Is there any financial aid available?

Yes, there is financial aid available for domestic students. If you are an Australian citizen living in Australia - or a New Zealand citizen living in Australia, you are eligible for the scholarship program. For more information, contact the Campus Director, Online MBA via email.

  1. How does UBBS’s MBA compare with somewhere else?

At UBBS, you will get online library access, a virtual classroom, live lecture studios, free textbooks, a student mobile app, CQ Connect (student management system), and a flexible study option.  Our course is also professionally accredited by CPA/CA.

  1. Can I get admission in the MBA without an undergrad degree?

Yes, you can. But in that case, you will need to demonstrate relevant work experience of at least 5 years full-time to enrol.

  1. How do I know if I am a domestic student?

If you are from either Australia or New Zealand, you’ll be considered a domestic student. If you are not, then you can take this course as an international student.

  1. How do I receive my degree in the end?

You can participate in the Graduation ceremony in Australia. You can apply for a visa and attend the ceremony in person or you can receive your award in absentia.

  1. Can enrol in a course without a 6.0 IELTS, and obtain credits later once I pass the 6.0 criteria?
