Biography:


Harry is an Assistant Professor at UBSS and a Lecturer for the Economics Group, Business School, University of Technology.

Harry has taught extensively in undergraduate and post-graduate economics subjects at University of Technology, Sydney.

Prior to joining UTS, he was the Head of the Economics & Statistics Department at UTS: INSEARCH.

He has two Teaching Awards from UTS and an Australian Learning and Teaching Citation (ALTC) for outstanding contribution to student learning in higher education.

As well as the heavy commitments to the teaching and administration of subjects, Harry has published widely in economics education, embedded writing skills and academic literacy in the teaching of economics subjects, and the determinants of student performance in economics areas.

Harry also holds several positions within the Business School in which he assists students with Special Needs and students from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Harry has written two text books . Tse, H., (2016), Economics for Management (1st Ed); Pearson Australia, 2016; ISBN: 9781488613890 and Tse, H., (2006), Donbush, Bodman, Crosby, Fischer & Startz. Macroeconomics Test Bank, Sydney : McGraw-Hill.

Harry has won the UTS Team Teaching Award in 2008 for Macroeconomics Theory & Applications.

The subject was awarded the UTS Team Teaching Award in recognising the contribution of the team working together to develop a curriculum and assessment structure and a set of supporting online. He also won UTS Team Teaching Award (2006) in Business Statistics.

Harry has written 14 publications and 11 conference papers over a career extending 30 years.
