Biography

Elizabeth Bartley has over 35 years of experience in tertiary, secondary, primary and adult education.  She has successfully worked in teaching, tutoring, facilitation and invigilation.  Her special interest is in communication and continuous learning as she further develops of her knowledge and skills in these areas through her current studies of Speech Pathology at the University of South Australia.  Elizabeth has completed her Masters’ project on the relationship between teaching and learning.

Elizabeth was a recipient of a New Columbo Plan Scholarship as a law student where she developed her knowledge in international criminal law in Jakarta at the Universitas Indonesia.

Also as a law student, Elizabeth was a volunteer legal researcher for Felicity Gerry KC on euthanasia for around three years. Elizabeth was invited to read this research paper at a conference run by Menzies Health, Darwin in association with the Charles Darwin University Law School, Darwin, Northern Territory.

Elizabeth joins the UBSS Adelaide Campus as a Learning Support Coordinator.
