Why study the BBus (Human Resoiurces) Major at UBSS?
The BBus degree offered at UBSS provides students with the choice to major in one of three majors. The course has a generic first year across all majors to provide students with foundation knowledge in business management and students specialise by major in their second and third years.
The course provides a comprehensive mix of theoretical subjects dedicated to the major of specialisation, as well as complementary subjects which challenge and equip students with the skills to think critically, creatively and independently.
- At UBSS, our emphasis on academic content, technology in teaching, as well as personal presentation skills is designed to produce a 'rounded' graduate who has theoretical knowledge, personal integrity, presentation skills and professionalism to make a positive impression in any interview scenario to increase his or her employment prospects.
The human resources major is designed to equip graduates for a career in human resources in the private and public sectors.
Entry level jobs graduates of the Human resources major are eligible for include: Human Resources Officer, Workplace learning and training officer, HR policy/workplace relations Officer, Recruitment officer, people and organisational change manager, Staff development specialist, etc

International student applicants who meet the academic admission requirements for this course, but who have not obtained an IELTS score of 6 or equivalent at the time of application are eligible to apply to enter UBSS under a packaged Course agreement, whereby they will initially enrol at the GCA Metro English College and complete a course of English until their English language is tested to an IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent,.
