"When I first came to UIC, I didn’t know what to expect. I was afraid of being alone, and I questioned how I would be able to communicate with other people at school. I soon realised that I had a lot of incredible people surrounding me – both teachers and students – and soon felt at home.
I would repeat this experience again because I have not only improved my English I have also grown as a person. If I had to say everything I felt in one simple word, it would be “Appreciation”.
Ever since I was a teenager, I dreamt about a possible future in Australia, the place where I could have a marvellous chance to study Accounting. UIC has helped me build a strong foundation for a glorious future."
